Tamara, no doubt, you have blessed hands and an incredibly huge heart. You guys are all so kind hearted and wonderful. Thank you so so much for an amazing first time experience. They make you feel so welcomed and like you’re at home. It’s so blended in and doesn’t look obnoxious…like it’s naturally done! Also, the staff is absolutely caring. My friend told me she loved how my stylist did my highlights. I absolutely love my hair!! It is so healthy and soft, and she gave a beautiful shine to it. Honestly, I have never received more compliments in my life. She makes sure she is there for her client’s needs and desires. She also mentioned types of shampoos that would work best for my hair since my hair is very thick and long.

She taught me how to straighten my side bangs and hair that way it didn’t look frizzy. Not only was she able to fix the color of hair and make it look so natural and beautiful but also align my cut that suited best for my face shape. I have had a bad experience before coming to her, but she was able to do wonders. Tamara, hands down, is one of the most compassionate, lovely and knowledgeable hair stylist I know. I can say this for sure, whenever I make it back stateside I’m scheduling another appointment with her. I’ve just left the country to go to school abroad, and because of Tamara I feel like I can put my best foot forward because I don’t have to worry about any of my hair – wanted or unwanted! It has been such a relief! Tamara also cuts hair, so the last time I went I got mine trimmed, and it looks so amazing. And even though I’ve been told that it’s not a cure, since getting waxed I’ve had zero ingrown hairs. I’ve been there on multiple occasions, typically for waxing, and it’s always been incredibly comforting (something I never anticipated saying about getting waxed…!). The energy there is wonderful, and the service is tremendous. But as soon as I walked in, I felt so much better. I was nervous, and totally unsure of what I was getting into because I (of course) had heard and read the horror stories. This job is for someone who just graduated school and needs a job ASAP.I had never been waxed before scheduling an appointment with Tamara and coming to Healing Wizdom. As a licensed professional, I felt insulted.

We got below minimum wage plus 5% commission. The manager talked bad about employees to other employees therefor starting drama in the store.

They have no idea how to run the store, let alone act professional at the same time. RIDICULOUS! Young girls should not be managing a big franchised company. The manager chose her favorite employees and would never threaten them, but when the rest of us would get 1 write-up she would tell us we were fired if we were to get another. When hired we were told if you receive 3 write-ups its an automatic termination. She would threaten our jobs every week with a "write-up" because I only sold 5 products instead of 10. If we didn't sell enough product or get the client to pre-book, we got in trouble by the manager. We did everything including waxing, selling ALL products, getting clients to pre-book. Worked for 6 months as a "wax specialist", but in reality the store stayed open because of the waxers.
